Mark's 65' Impala Restoration Project

Back in 1999 I met a this guy in Belgium where I used to live. Minutes after we met, we both noticed we could only speak about engines, horsepower, classic muscle cars and so on.
Yes, that's what happens when you meet a petrolhead mate!
It didn't take long for him to tell me about the car he had bought 2-3 years ago, but didn't have the time nor money (I say it was guts ;-) to start with his project.

A 1965 Super Sport Chevrolet Impala

These first pictures have been scaned, no digital cams by then. I have some more God knows where, and Mark too, though we will do our best to get them back and upload them to this web.

For the good old days! :

These where taken before restoration started. Apparently a good solid start.

Not even the biggest 'rentable' trailer was big enough for her...

*** Mark, we have many pics from these days send them over when ever you find them ok? This spot is reserved for them ;-)

This photo is probably the most depressing one we ever took! But it's great to have it and look back to that peace of raw metal!

Raf took care of the primer and that's me with a bleeding finger doing I don't know what!

***Big jump in time here; painting and fitting parts, lights, gaskets, triming and so on...
...Pics to be expected...

New tail LED lightning was fitted.

Let's roll mothafucka' !!!
